John Wesley Ambrose 
John was born on March 16th, 1834 in Virginia.1 John's father was William Ambrose and his mother was Mary Ann Weller. His paternal grandparents were Mathias Ambrose and Rosanna Clover. He had a brother and two sisters, named George, Mary and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 89 on September 30th, 1923 in Nevada, Story County, Iowa.-
