Mary F. Ambrose 
Mary was born about 1832 in Virginia.1 Mary's father was John Bell Ambrose Jr and her mother was Julia Ann Green. Her paternal grandparents were John Bell Ambrose Sr and Elizabeth "Betsy" Crum. She had a brother and four sisters, named James, Kate, Edury, Lydia and Caroline. She was the oldest of the six children.-
