James Mangum

James was born on August 17th, 1716 in Albemarle Parish, Isle of Wight County, Virginia. James' father was John Mangum and his mother was Frances Silvester Bennett. His paternal grandparents were John Mangum and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Richard Bennett II and Ann. He had six brothers and three sisters, named John, William, Samuel, Joseph, Nicholas, Henry, Frances, Mary and Sarah. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 66 on February 28th, 1783 in Sussex County, Virginia.
