Sarah was born on October 28th, 1845 in Illinois.  Sarah's father was William McFerron and her mother was Eliza-Jane Robinson.  Her paternal grandparents were Andrew McFerron and Martha McDonald. She had four brothers and three sisters, named J, John, William, James, Martha, Mary and E..  She was the oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 75 on November 24th, 1920 in Perry County, Illinois.  She was buried on November 28th, 1920 in Southwest part of Marissa Cemetery, Marissa, Monroe County, Illinois.
