Thomas was born on July 15th, 1576 in Rattlesden, Suffolk, England.  Thomas' father was Richard Munson and his mother was Margery Barnes.  His maternal grandparents were George Barnes and Margery. He had a brother and a sister, named John and Ann.  He was the youngest of the three children.
