William was born in 1459.  William's father was Sir John Scott and his mother was Agnes de Beaufitz.  His paternal grandparents were William Scott and Elizabeth Herbert; his maternal grandfather is William de Beaufitz.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 65 on August 24th, 1524.  He was buried in Brabourne, Kent, England.
