Rebecca was born on October 15th, 1692 in Northumberland County, Virginia. Rebecca's father was Samuel Travers and her mother was Frances Allerton. Her paternal grandparents were William Travers and Rebecca Hussey; her maternal grandparents were Isaac Allerton Jr and Elizabeth Willoughby. She was an only child.
