Jochem's father was Jochem Lambertse Van Valkenburgh and his mother was Eva Hendrickse Vrooman. His paternal grandparents were Lambert Van Valkenburgh and Annetje Jacobs; his maternal grandparents were Hendrick Bartholomeus Vrooman and Geertruy Johannis. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Lambert, Hendrick, Bartholomeus, Abraham, Johannes, Isaac, Jacob, Jannetje and Engeltie. He died in 1760.General Notes
