Zella Verine Van Valkenburgh 
Zella was born on November 15th, 1911 in Harper, Kansas. Zella's father was Edward Travis Van Valkenburgh and her mother was Anna (Minnie) Mae Rowe. Her paternal grandparents were Edward Porter Van Valkenburgh and Martha Jane Travis. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Edward, Bloyce, Lauretta and Betty. She is the second youngest of the five children.-
