Lionel of Antwerp, 1st Duke of Clarence 
Lionel was born on November 29th, 1338 in Antwerp, Belgium. Lionel's father was King Edward Plantagenet III of England and his mother was Phillipa de Hainault. His paternal grandparents were King Edward II of England and Isabella Princess of France. He had four brothers and three sisters, named the Black Prince, John, Edmund, Thomas, Isabella, Mary and Margaret. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 30 in 1368.-
