Elizabeth was born on February 14th, 1844 in Monroe County, Ohio.  Elizabeth's father was Alexander Davis and her mother was Jane Buskirk.  Her paternal grandparents were George Davis and Rozilla; her maternal grandparents were John Buskirk and Mary Terry. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Norman, Salatis, Salathiel, William, Charles, Sarah, Samilda, Davis, Hester and Marietta.  She was the second oldest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 23 on October 2nd, 1867.
