Rufus Freeland 
Rufus was born on July 2nd, 1837. Rufus' father was Elisha Freeland and his mother was Wilmuth Medaris. His maternal grandparents were John (Redd) Redmond Medaris and Rachel Beezley. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John, Robert, James, Jacob, Sarah, Rachel, Eliza and Lydia. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 1 on July 10th, 1838.-
