David Herndon

David was born in 1810. David's father was Reuben Herndon and his mother was Hannah Long. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Herndon and Polly Elliott. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, George, Jesse, Elliott, Elisha, Moses, Aaron, Reuben, Sarah and Anna. He was the second youngest of the eleven children.
