Charles Medaris 
Charles was born on August 21st, 1850 in LaPorte, Indiana. Charles' father was William Salter Medaris and his mother was Elizabeth D Wickersham. His paternal grandparents were George Washington Medaris and Elizabeth Salter. He had six brothers and a sister, named Franklin, John, James, William, Albert, Hiram and Mary. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 74 on February 26th, 1925 in Westville, Indiana.-
