William F. Medaris 
William was born in 1859. William's father was William Salter Medaris and his mother was Elizabeth D Wickersham. His paternal grandparents were George Washington Medaris and Elizabeth Salter. He had six brothers and a sister, named Charles, Franklin, John, James, Albert, Hiram and Mary. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 82 in 1941 in New Durham Township, Indiana.General Notes
