May Medaris 
May was born in 1886. May's father was Thomas Medaris and her mother was Flora. Her paternal grandparents were George Washington Medaris and Matilda Ann McDavitt. She had two brothers and two sisters, named George, Elery, Cassie and Edna. She was the second youngest of the five children.-
