Thomas Beecher Medaris 
Thomas was born on October 25th, 1826. Thomas' father was Abraham Medaris and his mother was Charity Ellsworth. His paternal grandparents were Oliver Medaris and Wilmuth Redmond; his maternal grandparents were John Ellsworth and Mary Richards. He had five brothers and two sisters, named William, David, John, Simeon, Jacob, Mary and Wilmuth. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 92 on January 31st, 1919. He was buried in Gravette Cemetery, Benton County, Arkansas.-
