Mathias Sonner 
Mathias was born on June 11th, 1837 in White Oak Twp, Highland County, Ohio.1 Mathias' father was Johann Jacob Sonner and his mother was Christena Ambrose. His maternal grandparents were Rev. William Hanby Ambrose and Susanna B. Crum. He had five brothers and two sisters, named William, George, John, Anthony, Isaac, Elizabeth and Rachel. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 88 on November 9th, 1925.-
