Rachel Sonner

Rachel was born in June 1840 in White Oak Twp, Highland County, Ohio.¹ Rachel's father was Johann Jacob Sonner and her mother was Christena Ambrose. Her maternal grandparents were Rev. William Hanby Ambrose and Susanna B. Crum. She had six brothers and a sister, named William, George, John, Anthony, Isaac, Mathias and Elizabeth. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died in Rich County, Illinois.
