Jan Van Etten

Jan was born in 1666 in Ulster County, New York and his baptism took place on January 3rd, 1666 in Kingston, Ulster County, New York.¹

Birth Notes

Jan's father was Jacob Jansen Van Etten and his mother was Annetje Arians Adriaensen. His paternal grandparents were Johannes Marinessen and Wilhelmina Hoannes; his maternal grandparents were Jans Aerjan and Grietjen Jansen. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Arien, Petrus, Emanuel, Jacobus, Sytie, Pieternella, Heiltje, Tryntie and Geestje. He was the oldest of the ten children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Cornelis and Grietje. He died at the age of 65 in 1731 in Ulster County, New York.
