Emanuel van Etten 
Emanuel was born on December 29th, 1681 in Marbletown, Ulster, New York.1 Emanuel's father was Jacob Jansen Van Etten and his mother was Annetje Arians Adriaensen. His paternal grandparents were Johannes Marinessen and Wilhelmina Hoannes; his maternal grandparents were Jans Aerjan and Grietjen Jansen. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Jan, Arien, Petrus, Jacobus, Sytie, Pieternella, Heiltje, Tryntie and Geestje. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Cornelis and Grietje.General Notes
