Sir Hugh de Courtenay 
Hugh was born before 1372. Hugh's father was Edward de Courtenay and his mother was Emmeline Dawnay. His paternal grandparents were Sir Hugh de Courtenay, 2nd Earl of Devon and Margaret de Bohun; his maternal grandfather was Sir John Dawnay. He had a brother named Edward. He was the younger of the two children. He died about March 5th, 1425.General Notes
He married, secondly, Philippe l'Arcedekne, daughter of Sir Warin l'Arcedekne and Elizabeth Talbot. He married, firstly, Elizabeth Cogan, daughter of Sir William Cogan, before 11 February 1392/93. He married, thirdly, Maud Beaumont, daughter of William Beaumont and Isabel Wilington, circa 16 October 1417.
