Pierre de Fiennes du Bois 
Pierre was born in 1568 in Herzeau, Lille, France (Belgium). Pierre's father was Charles de Fiennes du Bois and his mother was Barbe de Beaufremez. His paternal grandparents were Antoine de Fiennes du Bois and Baudouine Lyonnel; his maternal grandparents were Henri de Beaufremez and Antoinette de la Chapelle. He was an only child. He died at the age of 55 in 1623 in Canterbury, Kent, England.General Notes
Appears that he and his brother, Jean, did not appear to have inherited property. It is likely that they had an elder brother, Louis du Bois, who was Seigneur de Beaufremez at Linselles near Lille. Under the system of primogeniture, it was the custom for the eldest son to inherit all the property and titles of his father. It is probable that the American Du Bois immigrant, Louis, was named after this uncle. Pierre lived near Herseau, Belgium.
