John C. Ambrose

John was born on September 1st, 1848 in Pickaway County, Ohio.¹ John's father was Rev. Mathias Ambrose and his mother was Sarah M. Perkins. His paternal grandparents were Rev. William Hanby Ambrose and Susanna B. Crum. He had five brothers and a sister, named Levi, Lewis, Henry, George, William and Lydia. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 40 in December 1888 in Winnemucca, Nevada.¹
