Levi P. Ambrose

Levi was born in 1838 in Pickaway County, Ohio. Levi's father was Rev. Mathias Ambrose and his mother was Sarah M. Perkins. His paternal grandparents were Rev. William Hanby Ambrose and Susanna B. Crum. He had five brothers and a sister, named Lewis, Henry, George, William, John and Lydia. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 24 on October 4th, 1862 in Corinth, Mississippi. He was buried in Corinth, Mississippi.¹
