Maretha was born about 1843.1 Maretha's father was Peter Ambrose and her mother is Mary Glenn. Her paternal grandparents were Frederick Ambrose and Jane "Jennie" Tanner. She had two brothers named Francis and John. She was the second oldest of the three children. Maretha is no longer alive.
