Thomas Brooke, 8th Lord Cobham (of Kent) 
Thomas was born before 1481. Thomas' father was John Brooke, 7th Lord Cobham (of Kent) and his mother was Margaret Neville. His paternal grandparents were Edward Brooke, 6th Lord Cobham (of Kent) and Elizabeth Tuchet; his maternal grandparents were Sir Edward Neville, 1st Lord Abergavenny and Katherine Howard. He was an only child. He died on July 19th, 1529. He was buried in Cobham, Kent, England.General Notes
He married, firstly, Dorothy Heydon, daughter of Sir Henry Heydon and Anne Boleyn. He married, secondly, Dorothy Southwell. He married, thirdly, Elizabeth Hart.
Thomas Brooke, 8th Lord Cobham (of Kent) fought in the Siege of Tournay in 1513. He fought in the Battle of the Spurs on 18 August 1513. He was invested as a Knight Banneret in 1514. He succeeded to the title of 8th Lord Cobham [E., 1313] on 23 November 1514. In 1520 he was at the Field of the Cloth of Gold. In 1521 he was one of the 12 Barons for the trial of the Duke of Buckingham. He had twelve other children by his first wife.
