Abraham was born about 1688.  Abraham's father was Abraham Currell and his mother was Rebecca Horton.  His paternal grandparents were Teague Currell and Ellinore; his maternal grandparents were Tobias Horton and Elizabeth Flowers. He had three brothers and a sister, named James, Isaac, Jacob and Elinor. He had two half-brothers named Nicholas and William.  He died about 1754 in Lancaster County, Virginia.
