William C Herndon

William was born on September 12th, 1825. William's father was Caddis Oliver Herndon and his mother was Elizabeth Berthy. His paternal grandparents were William Herndon and Mary Bohannon. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Benjamin, George, Minerva, Elizabeth, Judith, Polly and Margaret. He was the second youngest of the eight children.
