Sarah Langston 
Sarah was born on January 23rd, 1801 in Laurens County, South Carolina. Sarah's father was Hiram Bennett Langston and her mother was Mary Brown. Her paternal grandparents were Solomon Langston and Sarah Bennett; her maternal grandparents were John Brown and Sarah Weeks. She had six brothers and five sisters, named James, John, Henry, Matthew, William, Hiram, Eliza, Rebecca, Mary, Emily and Henrietta. She was the third oldest of the twelve children.-
