Gertrude Moore 
Gertrude was born on February 27th, 1870 in Corydon,Wayne Co.,IA. Gertrude's father was Samuel Houston Moore and her mother was Margaret Emma Dean. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Moore and Jane Utter; her maternal grandparents were J. William Dean and Eliza Jane Smith. She had two brothers and a sister, named Franklin, William and Anna Houston. She was the second youngest of the four children. She had two half-brothers named Isaac Newton and George Alford. She died at the age of 78 on May 10th, 1948 in Kingman,kA.General Notes
