Mabel Louise Van Valkenburgh 
Mabel was born on March 1st, 1922 in Deer Creek, Grant County, Oklahoma. Mabel's father was Alvin Milford Van Valkenburgh and her mother was Osie Blanche Loveless. Her paternal grandparents were Edward Porter Van Valkenburgh and Martha Jane Travis; her maternal grandparents were John Burton Loveless and Roberta Margaret Null. She has two brothers and two sisters, named Bill, Meredith, Martha and Roberta. She is the second oldest of the five children. She had four half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Norman, Glenwood, Alvin, John, Heylin, Lois, Ruth, Alpharetta and Paul.General Notes
