William (Bill) Burton Van Valkenburgh 
William, known as Bill, was born on January 10th, 1926 in Deer Creek, Grant County, Oklahoma. Bill's father was Alvin Milford Van Valkenburgh and his mother was Osie Blanche Loveless. His paternal grandparents were Edward Porter Van Valkenburgh and Martha Jane Travis; his maternal grandparents were John Burton Loveless and Roberta Margaret Null. He has a brother and three sisters, named Meredith, Martha, Mabel and Roberta. He is the second youngest of the five children. He had four half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Norman, Glenwood, Alvin, John, Heylin, Lois, Ruth, Alpharetta and Paul.General Notes
