Margaret Ambrose

Margaret was born about 1797 in Berkeley County, Virginia.¹ Margaret's father was Mathias Ambrose and her mother was Rosanna Clover. Her paternal grandfather was William Henry Ambrose and her paternal grandmother is Sarah; her maternal grandparents were Philip A Clover and Elizabeth. She had seven brothers and six sisters, named David, Ticey, John, Henry, William, George, Joseph, Martha, Polly, Rosanna, Hannah, Susannah and Lucy. She was the second oldest of the fourteen children.
