Richard was born on March 26th, 1923 in Ohio. Richard's father was Paul Dolphin and his mother was Ruth Izora Cadwallader. His maternal grandparents were Ira Cadwallader and Nancy Ann Wilkin. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Paul, Roger, Ronald, Virginia, Lois, Shirley and Ruth. He is the second oldest of the eight children.General Notes
