James Herndon

James was born in 1716. James' father was Edward Herndon and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Waller. His paternal grandparents were William Herndon and Catherine Digges; his maternal grandparents are Dr. John Waller and <Unknown>. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John, Edward, William, Richard, David, Anne, Martha and Herndon. He was the youngest of the nine children. He had a half-sister named Esther. He died at the age of 48 in 1764.
