Polly Herndon

Polly was born in 1816 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. Polly's father was Hearndon and her mother was Elizabeth Long. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Herndon and Polly Elliott. She had four brothers and three sisters, named James, Jones, Daniel, William, Elizabeth, Jane and Nancy. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Oliver, Joseph, Elliott, John and Daughter.
