Matthew Langston

Matthew was born on January 31st, 1805 in Laurens County, South Carolina. Matthew's father was Hiram Bennett Langston and his mother was Mary Brown. His paternal grandparents were Solomon Langston and Sarah Bennett; his maternal grandparents were John Brown and Sarah Weeks. He had five brothers and six sisters, named James, John, Henry, William, Hiram, Sarah, Eliza, Rebecca, Mary, Emily and Henrietta. He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 3 on October 8th, 1808 in Charleston, South Carolina.
