Elby Marcellus Medaris 
Elby was born on August 7th, 1882. Elby's father was Marcellus Medaris and his mother was Caroline Bundy. His paternal grandparents were John Ellsworth Medaris and Mary Ann Wood. He had two brothers and five sisters, named John, William, Pearl, Clemmie, Flavilla, Glenna and Mary. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 55 on July 3rd, 1938.-
