John Franklin Medaris 
John was born on August 1st, 1872. John's father was Marcellus Medaris and his mother was Caroline Bundy. His paternal grandparents were John Ellsworth Medaris and Mary Ann Wood. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Elby, William, Pearl, Clemmie, Flavilla, Glenna and Mary. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 62 on June 11th, 1935 in Yakima, Washington.-
