George W Medaris 
George was born in 1841 in Ohio. George's father was George Washington Medaris and his mother was Elizabeth Salter. His paternal grandparents were Oliver Medaris and Wilmuth Redmond. He had five brothers and six sisters, named William, Oliver, Elijah, Levi, Jesse, Synthia, Hester, Lib, Elizabeth, Matilda and Mary. He was the youngest of the twelve children. He had six half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Zachariah, Charles, Gideon, Thomas, Chemiah, Eli, Manerva, Ruth and Martha.-
