Levi White Medaris 
Levi was born in 1834 in Miami twp, Clermont County, Ohio. Levi's father was George Washington Medaris and his mother was Elizabeth Salter. His paternal grandparents were Oliver Medaris and Wilmuth Redmond. He had five brothers and six sisters, named William, Oliver, Elijah, Jesse, George, Synthia, Hester, Lib, Elizabeth, Matilda and Mary. He was the fourth youngest of the twelve children. He had six half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Zachariah, Charles, Gideon, Thomas, Chemiah, Eli, Manerva, Ruth and Martha. He died at the age of 82 on November 18th, 1916 in 141 Keppel St Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia.General Notes
Levi moved to the gold fields of Bathurst, Australia during the Goldrush era of 1856.
