Matilda Medaris 
Matilda was born in 1827. Matilda's father was John (Redd) Redmond Medaris and her mother was Rachel Beezley. Her paternal grandparents were Oliver Medaris and Wilmuth Redmond. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named Oliver, John, William, Wilmuth, Sarah, Jane, Elizabeth, Ann, Rachel and Maria. She was the third youngest of the eleven children. She died in Osceola Grove Cemetery, Stark County, Illinois. She was buried in Osceola Grove Cemetery, Stark County, Illinois.-
