Minerva Jane Medaris 
Minerva was born on June 12th, 1856 in Owen County, Indiana. Minerva's father was Stephen Cyrus Medaris and her mother was Millie Coble. Her paternal grandparents were James Davis Medaris and Levisa King; her maternal grandparents were Peter Coble and Mary Catherine Kimbrough. She had three brothers and five sisters, named William, James, Stephen, Sarah, Mary, Martha, Laura and Ada. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children. She had three half-sisters named Della, Effie and Dossie. She died at the age of 27 on June 4th, 1884.General Notes
The 1895 Kansas Census shows a WS Williams schoolteacher in Sedgewick County, b. ~1855, wife Beebe (or something like that), son Oscar B b. ~1882 Indiana, daughter Floy b. ~1891 Kansas, and son Arthur b. 1894 Kansas.
Maybe Minerva died or divorced or went to jail (1910 census), and WS remarried.
