Sarah Medaris 
Sarah was born in 1849 in Ohio. Sarah's father was John Ellsworth Medaris and her mother was Mary Ann Wood. Her paternal grandparents were Abraham Medaris and Charity Ellsworth. She had a brother and two sisters, named Marcellus, Henrietta and Sally. She was the second oldest of the four children.-
