Aurora (Lowell) Medearis 
Aurora, known as Lowell, was born on April 27th, 1842 in Brown County, Ohio. Lowell's father was John Wesley Medaris and her mother was Sirrelda Barnett. Her paternal grandparents were John (Redd) Redmond Medaris and Rachel Beezley. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Martin, William, Alexander, James, Joseph, Franklin, Eliza, Ann, Fannie and Sadie. She was the second oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 93 on November 15th, 1935 in Nebraska.-
