Frances (Fannie) J. Medearis 
Frances, known as Fannie, was born on May 28th, 1862 in Stark County, Illinois. Fannie's father was John Wesley Medaris and her mother was Sirrelda Barnett. Her paternal grandparents were John (Redd) Redmond Medaris and Rachel Beezley. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Martin, William, Alexander, James, Joseph, Franklin, Lowell, Eliza, Ann and Sadie. She was the second youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 17 on June 1st, 1879 in Toulon twp, Stark County, Illinois.-
