George B. Ridings 
George was born on June 11th, 1837 in Hollowtown, Clay twp, Highland County, Ohio. George's father was Samuel Mathias Ridings and his mother was Catherine Ambrose. His paternal grandparents were Dr. Peter Joseph Ridings and Mary Brotherton; his maternal grandparents were Rev. William Hanby Ambrose and Susanna B. Crum. He had nine brothers and a sister, named William, Peter, Christian, John, Louis, Samuel, Jacob, Joseph, James and Mary. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died about 1863 in Dinwiddie, Virginia.1 Death Notes
