Joseph Ridings

Joseph was born on October 18th, 1807 in Frederick County, Virginia. Joseph's father was Dr. Peter Joseph Ridings and his mother was Mary Brotherton. His paternal grandparents were John Ridings and Mary Morris. He had ten brothers and a sister, named Edwin, James, John, William, Cyrus, Samuel, George, Peter, Charles, Isaac and Sarah. He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 41 in 1848.
