Christian C. Ambrose

Christian was born on July 27th, 1840 in Frederick County, Virginia.¹ Christian's father was Lewis Ambrose and his mother was Elizabeth Hawkins. His paternal grandparents were John Bell Ambrose Sr and Elizabeth "Betsy" Crum. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John, Henry, Francis, Hiram, Lewis, Sarah, Lucy and Eliza. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 41 on March 31st, 1882.¹
